Born on December 19, 1991, in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Byhalia, Mississippi, Iesha Thomas — professionally known as NovaLife — is a dynamic recording artist blending R&B, Pop, and Soul into a sound that is both timeless and emotionally captivating.

Nurtured in a large blended family as one of twelve siblings, IESYA developed strength, independence, and determination and the importances of education early in life. She graduated from Byhalia High School in 2010, earned her nursing degree in 2017 and is currently a registered nurse and a devoted mother of three, and a future nurse practitioner.

Inspired by Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, and Jazmine Sullivan, IESYA delivers a powerful vocal emotional storytelling and commanding presence. She is building a legacy that goes beyond music — aiming to inspire others, break generational barriers, and create timeless, meaningful art. IESYA is not just an artist — she is a voice, a presence, and a movement that represents a diverse community of women.
